Harabhara Egg Curry

Palak Anda Curry / Egg and Spinach Curry / Harabhara Egg Curry

History

Palak egg is a egg dish originating from the Indian subcontinent, consisting of egg in a thick paste made from puréed spinach, called palak in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and other Indian languages.---

The terms palak egg and saag egg are sometimes used interchangeably in restaurants in the United States and Canada. However, saag egg is different from traditional palak egg in that it contains other green leafy vegetables, such as mustard greens, whereas palak egg only contains spinach. Dhaba restaurants often specialize in palak egg.
